REPTILIAN COLLECTION
I create ceramic vessels and sculptural landscapes or environments by juxtaposing amphibian, reptilian and botanical shapes, textures and colors. Visual and verbal puns are formed in the objects or in the titles due to resemblances in appearances or words. The imagery evolves from a lifelong fascination with reptiles and amphibians in their habitat, and I consider my work to be memories altered.
